Hello dear friends. I was unable to get a story finished this week, and unable to get a post out in time. And you know what? It was ok. Nothing exploded. Today’s piece is a bit raw, and a bit sad. It is not a story. It is just something I wanted to share with you.
These past few days have felt like a
They have taken an emotional and physical toll.
Our bodies are libraries of memories we never wanted.
They compel us, whispering to us through the dark hallways of the past.
Every touch, every sensation telling the story again, an
They all exist in this world, and they carve their
But I have been fortunate enough to experience
And slowly I have come to realize that strength does not mean
Never being broken.
It means having the courage to be broken
And finding yourself in the rubble each time.
Many hands make light work.
Trust that you will soon be together again
And then, my love, you will know what I have always known.
That which breaks, is merely your idea of yourself.
And that which remains, that which knows, that which loves,
